Where we've been lately

For the past 2 months, Bogdan's been waking up early Monday morning, driving to the airport, and flying 6 long hours to San Francisco. I haven't mentioned it before (safety reasons), but that has been our life since May. He gets home really late on Thursday (or Friday morning for that matter) spends a few nights home, and it starts all over again. When we found out his project would be in the bay area, we immediately knew we'd be doing a weekend (or a few) in San Francisco. And that is where we've been for the past 2+ weeks.

A couple of Thursdays ago, my cousin drove me to the airport (Thanks, Sean!) and I boarded a nonstop flight to SFO where Bogdan was waiting for me as close as security allows among a group of people with "We heart Kyle" signs. The flight itself was really really long (think flying to London long) and all I could think was, how has he been doing this?! That night we stayed in a hotel near Union Square - but we wouldn't be staying in San Francisco long, we had big plans for the first weekend. Plans that Bogdan's coworkers aptly called "ambitious." So after checking out and Bogdan doing some work and conference calls on Friday (it was a work day after all), we got in the car and headed west and when the ocean stopped us, we turned due south down Highway 1.

Stay tuned...
