A scene from Lost

You know how sometimes you watch a show or movie and you see this ridiculous scene like a waterfall on a beach with ocean waves crashing beside it? And all you can think is darn you Hawaii!!! (and Hollywood!!!). You may imagine yourself as Kate (even though you kind of despised her on Lost) standing under the waterfall with Sawyer, digging your toes in the sand as you partake in one of the most romantic scenes ever.

Well that Saturday morning we experienced one of those scenes. No, Sawyer was not there, nor Kate, nor Smokey. Instead, Bogdan and I arrived at Julia Pfieffer Burns State Park, parked and paid the entrance fee, and began the short hike to the beach. Except that you don't get to go on the actual beach, but instead you walk the steep cliffs that surround it. So we're walking and we see this:

Beautiful right?

Only we keep walking and that's when we see this:

Yes. A waterfall on a beach. Ri-donk-ulous.

And awesome.
